Title

Heterogeneity in Social Learning and its Effects on Diffusion of Social Norms

Author Lukas VON FLÜE

Co-director of thesis Prof. Charles Efferson: [email protected]
Summary of thesis

I investigate heterogeneity in social learning and how this affects the diffusion of information. To do that, I run both behavioral experiments and agent-based simulation models. A main focus lies on poverty-induced cognitive load as a cause for the variation between people in their capability of strategically using social information.
